Judy Mikovits, who appears in the movie Plandemic, and Dr. Anthony Fauci.
Judy Mikovits is a controversial former researcher on chronic fatigue and Dr. Anthony Fauci and critic of mass vaccination who appears in a viral video thumbnail for a new film called Plandemic. YouTube has since deleted the video, but you can watch it later in this article.
The upcoming film (read about the man who created it here) raises questions about the government’s approach to the COVID-19 pandemic and whether there is a financial incentive to induce mass vaccinations, among other. Mikovits, who released a new book, was featured in the first published thumbnail promoting the film. His controversial career in the scientific community has been punctuated by arrest, trial, retracted study, allegations against Fauci and clashes with the founders of the Whittemore Peterson Institute for Neuroimmune Diseases, located in Reno, Nevada .
The presentation text for Plandemic complaints:
Humanity is trapped by a deadly pandemic. People are arrested for surfing the ocean and meditating in the wild. Nations are falling apart. Hungry citizens riot for food. The media has generated so much confusion and fear that people are asking for salvation in a syringe. Billionaire patent owners are pushing for mandatory vaccines worldwide. Anyone who refuses to be injected with experimental poisons will be banned from travel, education and work. No, this is not a synopsis for a new horror film. This is our current reality.
Others have called Mikovits a conspiracy theorist and “truthful” anti-vaxxer whose claims do not correspond to the facts regarding her arrest and research (although she denies being anti-vaccine in the Plandemic film thumbnail.) A press release for Mikovits’ book describes her in a different light, calling her a scientist “with the bright mind one would expect if Erin Brockovich had a doctorate in molecular biology.” Mikovits’ complaints about Fauci date back to the earliest days of HIV research and credit for the scientific breakthrough that isolated HIV as the cause of AIDS. Fauci also played a role in stimulating research that led to discrediting Mikovits’ research on chronic fatigue syndrome years later. Now his criticism of him has gone viral as his national profile grows.
In his new book, Plague of Corruption: Restoring Faith in the Promise of Science, Mikovits wrote, “I never imagined becoming one of the most controversial figures in 21st century science. She – and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. – argue that she was persecuted for her scientific opinions.
Here’s what you need to know:
1. Mikovits, whose criticism of Dr. Fauci goes back to AIDS research in the 1980s, questions the motives of the American strategy COVID-19
The next documentary Plandemic will be released in the summer of 2020, according to its website, which indicates that the first episode “features renowned scientist Judy Mikovits PHD. The video was deleted by YouTube because YouTube claims to have violated its terms of use. You can watch it above.
The 25-minute documentary vignette claims that Mikovits has been called “one of the most accomplished scientists of his generation” and has revolutionized the treatment of HIV / AIDS. The documentary says it published a “bestselling” study that claimed that “the routine use of animal and human fetal tissue unleashes devastating plagues of chronic disease.” The “Big Pharma henchmen” then waged war against her, destroying her “reputation, career and personal life,” says the vignette. She criticizes Dr. Fauci in the video. She also criticized Fauci on her Twitter page.
in the Plandemic Mikovits admitted to being arrested, but claims it was to prevent her from speaking. The thumbnail had more than 1.6 million views on YouTube before it was deleted. She is interviewed by Mikki Willis, whose YouTube account broadcast the video. His Facebook page defines him as a filmmaker for a small production company called Elevate. Elevate’s Facebook page calls it “a tribe of creators who defend the power of art and the media as a tool to inspire the masses and drive change.” It is a production company in Ojai, California.
Willis predicted video censorship in a previous Facebook post, writing:
Dear Guardians of Truth and Freedom of Expression, before removing this video, please read these words:
The world is watching you. We understand the pressure you are under to censor any information that contradicts popular narrative. We know the risk of defying the orders of those who pull the strings. We realize that even the biggest tech giants are under the command of powerful forces that have the ability to destroy your empire with just one click. But because of the critical state of our world, “I was just doing my job” is no longer an acceptable excuse.
Now is not the time for politics. Our future is your future. The future of your family. The future of your children. The future of your grandchildren. It’s a call to the human in you. To prevent this information from reaching the people is to take a firm stand on the wrong side of history. A choice that you will certainly regret with regret as the truth emerges exponentially. There is nothing, no billionaire, no politician, no media, no level of censorship that can slow this awakening. It’s here. It happens. Which side are you on?
And to the citizens of this magnificent planet …
If anything is clear right now, it’s the fact that no one is coming to save us. We are the ones we have been waiting for. Although great forces have worked long and hard to divide us, our resilience, strength and intelligence have been seriously underestimated. Now is the time to put all of our differences aside. United we are. Divided we fall.

Facebook did not delete the video.
In the video, Mikovits says she had 97 witnesses in the case that led to her arrest, including Dr. Tony Fauci, who she said should have testified. She said she was detained without charge. “They literally drugged me out of the house.” She claimed that equipment – intellectual equipment from the laboratory where she worked – had been “planted” in her house. “I have no constitutional rights or freedoms,” she says.
It sets out in disastrous terms the government’s approach to fighting COVID-19.
“If we don’t stop this now, we can not only forget our republic and our freedom, but we can forget humanity because we will be killed by this program,” she said.
Mikovits claimed in the deleted video that Dr. Fauci had “directed” a cover-up involving financial benefits for some. What he says about COVID-19 is “absolutely propaganda,” she said. Fauci, of course, is the head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), who has been a prominent government figure in briefings on COVID-19 strategies, including blockages and other measures to “flatten the curve”. Heavy wrote to the NIAID press office to give Fauci a chance to respond to Mikovits’ claims and will add comments to this story if it is received.
In the video, Mikovits claimed that Fauci had perpetrated propaganda that had killed millions of people in the past. She also raised questions about how deaths from COVID-19 are counted.
One of his biggest steers against Dr. Fauci, however, dates back to battles for the credit of the discovery of HIV in the early 1980s.
In the video, Mikovits claimed that she had isolated HIV from the saliva and blood of patients in France, but that Fauci was involved in postponing the research so that a friend could take credit for it, which that allowed the HIV virus to spread. These claims are unproven. They were also released in April by Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Kennedy, allegedly on the Children’s Health Defense website (of which he is the president):
Dr. Mikovits joined the NIH in 1980 as a postdoctoral researcher in molecular virology at the National Cancer Institute and began a 20-year collaboration with Frank Ruscetti, a pioneer in the field of human retro virology. She helped Dr. Russetti (sic) isolate the HIV virus and link it to #AIDS in 1983. Her NIH boss Anthony Fauci delayed the publication of this critical article for 6 months to allow her protégé Robert Gallo reproduce, publish and claim credit. The delay in mass testing for HIV has allowed AIDS to spread worldwide and helped Fauci to gain promotion to the post of Director of NIAID.
On the Kennedy website, Mikovits reportedly said:
I took a job at the National Cancer Institute. I was under the direction of Frank Ruscetti. I isolated HIV from blood and saliva confirming Dr. Luc Montagnier’s previous isolation and description of HIV as a possible causative agent of AIDS… When Frank Ruscetti was out of town, I received a call from Dr Fauci and he demanded that I give him our HIV isolation and confirmation manuscript while he was in press. I refused to do it because it is unethical. These manuscripts are confidential and only the authors can give him a copy… When Frank Ruscetti returned a few weeks later, he gave the manuscript to Dr. Fauci, and Dr. Fauci deliberately delayed the publication of our manuscript so that his boyfriend , Dr. Robert Gallo, could copy our work and submit a competing manuscript and go to press before ours.
Kennedy’s website says, “This has delayed the development of testing and has spread the HIV epidemic worldwide, killing millions of people.”
The NCI is part of the National Institutes of Health (NIH). NIH is “one of 11 organizations that make up the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS),” according to its website. Fauci works for an agency under the aegis of the NIH, but he has been director of the National Institute of Allergies and Infectious Diseases since 1984, which is not the same agency as the NCI. Prior to that, Fauci was head of the Immunoregulatory Laboratory at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.
Ruscetti presents several ways in this complex plot. Mikovits claims he was denied credit for HIV breakthroughs, and they then banded together to look for another angle related to retroviruses involving chronic fatigue syndrome. In both cases, Mikovits blames Fauci for the problems.
An article in Discover Magazine says that Frank Ruscetti, “who discovered HTLV-1 while working at Robert Gallo’s laboratory for tumor cell biology at NCI in 1980”, was also Mikovits’ “primary collaborator” for controversial research on chronic fatigue syndrome. What is HTLV? It was the first human retrovirus, and its discovery helped form the foundation for further research on HIV, also a retrovirus.
You can read a 2009 research article on the discovery of HIV as the cause of AIDS here. He is described as “one of the main scientific achievements of the last century”. This article argues that “the discovery of HIV depended on the previous discovery of the first human retrovirus HTLV-I”, which was “first reported by Robert C. Gallo and colleagues in 1980”. This article attributes to a researcher named Luc Montagnier some of the earliest discoveries about HIV. “Evidence that a new human retrovirus (HIV-1) was the cause of AIDS was first established in four publications by the Gallo group in the May 4 issue of Science in 1984,” he said. The article says that Gallo was refused the Nobel Prize and this revived “false allegations in the media that Gallo and his colleagues at the NIH rediscovered or even stole the French HIV isolate sent to them by the Pasteur Institute ”.
An article on the history of AIDS research in Science Magazine explains that “the Institut Pasteur de France in Paris for Barré-Sinoussi and the National Cancer Institute (NCI) of the United States in Bethesda, Maryland, for Gallo” were “on the opposite sides of a historic who-did-when-when battle that started over the HIV blood test patent.” He does not mention Mikovits or Ruscetti. The French won the Nobel Prize.
At the time of AIDS, Fauci was working as a principal investigator with the National Institute of Allergies and Infectious Diseases. He assembled a group of scientists to study the disease. “Under the leadership of Fauci, NIAID has become the largest funder of HIV / AIDS research in the world. Research from his own laboratory has also helped to clarify the basic relationships between the virus and the immune system, ”reports Science Magazine.

in the Plandemic video, Mikovits is making other claims. She says patents are a conflict of interest. Mikovits also criticizes the concept of mass vaccines. “They will kill millions of people, as they have already done with their vaccines,” she said, stressing that it was not anti-vaccine. She says there is a financial incentive in COVID-19 strategies not to use natural remedies to induce people to use vaccines.
Mikovits co-wrote a book called Plague: intrepid researcher searches for the truth about human retroviruses and chronic fatigue syndrome (ME / CFS), autism, and other diseases and claims that 30% of vaccines are contaminated with retroviruses. The book contains a foreword by Robert F. Kennedy Jr. The book was No. 2 on Amazon’s bestseller list on May 6.
In the preface, Kennedy calls Mikovits “one of the most qualified scientists of his generation.” Kennedy wrote that she entered professional science “from the University of Virginia with a bachelor’s degree in chemistry on June 10, 1980, as a protein chemist for the National Cancer Institute working on a rescue project to purify the interferon. “
She then began a 20-year collaboration with Ruscetti, a “pioneer in the field of human retrovirology” who ran Robert Gallo’s laboratory in 1977. (Read a historical summary of Gallo’s work here.)
“How many new retroviruses have we created thanks to all the research on mice, research on vaccines, research in gene therapy?” “It would have been cited in 2015.” More importantly, how many new diseases have we created? They are experimenting with us now. I am really worried about the population. “
What is a retrovirus? “Retroviruses are a type of virus in the viral family called Retroviridae. They use RNA as genetic material, “says Healthline, adding that retroviruses and viruses” replicate in a host cell “differently. HIV is a retrovirus.
In another YouTube video, she said about COVID-19: “We don’t need a vaccine. All you have to do is have a healthy immune system. This video was also removed from YouTube because YouTube said it violated community rules.
Vice reports that Mikovits was involved in a “Fire Fauci” campaign, “claiming that he sabotaged his research on an alleged mouse virus which she claims is the real cause of cancer. According to Vice, Mikovits also objects to wearing masks to protect against coronaviruses.
The press release from his book describes Mikovits as “having spent twenty years at the National Cancer Institute, working with Dr. Frank Ruscetti, one of the founding fathers of human retrovirology, and co-authoring over forty articles scientists. She co-founded and directed the first institute of neuro-immune diseases using a systems biology approach in 2006. Dr. Mikovits lives in southern California with her husband, David. “
The Plandemic video has been widely shared online. He also drew criticism:
Mikovits was featured in a previous The Epoch Times video that was flagged by Facebook fact checkers. According to Gladstone Observer, he questions the official Chinese stories about the origins of COVID-19. Canadian science communicator Tim Blais raised questions about the video in his own article on social media.
In this video, Mikovits says of COVID-19: “The idea of such a rapid spread in a population as it has spread in the seafood market is highly unlikely and improbable.”

2. Mikovits was charged with stealing equipment and keeping laboratory notebooks
The allegations of persecution of Mikovits revolve around the story of his brief incarceration. But what are the facts?
Gladstone Observer reports that Mikovits was the subject of an ‘Internet myth’ dating from 2018 that she was’ thrown in jail for research that led to the discovery that deadly retroviruses have been transmitted to 25 million Americans through human vaccines. ” the Plandemic the video resuscitates elements of this claim, describing his arrest as an unjust punishment.
The ultimately dismissed criminal case against Mikovits received fairly extensive media coverage at the time. According to Science Magazine, in November 2011, the district attorney for Washoe County, Nevada, filed a criminal complaint against Mikovits who “accused the virologist of illegally taking computer data and related assets from his former employer, the Whittemore Peterson Institute for Neuro-Immune (WPI) in Reno, Nevada. (Heavy contacted the Whittemore Peterson Institute to comment on Mikovits.)
The Chicago Tribune reported that “the University of Nevada, Reno police have issued an arrest warrant listing two counts of the crime: possession of stolen property and illegal taking of computer data, equipment, supplies or other computer-related assets. “
In his book, Mikovits says his “real crime” was “to follow the data and listen to the patients.” She claims that her problems led to bankruptcy.
She was briefly imprisoned, but the prosecutor later dropped the charges, reports Science Magazine. (Heavy contacted the prosecutor’s office for comment and the original criminal complaint).
Judy Mikovits’ charges dismissed
According to Science Magazine, WPI co-founder Harvey Whittemore has been criminally charged in another campaign donation case, complicating the case against Mikovits due to witness issues. She told Science Magazine that the case prevented her from finding work, except for one study she was working on and funded by the National Institutes of Health. In 2014, Harvey Whittemore began serving a two-year sentence in a federal prison “for breaking the laws on campaign contributions,” according to the Review Journal. A jury found that he channeled $ 133,400 in illegal contributions “to the campaign of the Senate majority chief Harry Reid, D-Nev,” the newspaper reported.
Harvey Whittemore, described as a lobbyist, was also charged in 2016 with hiding millions of dollars from his creditors, according to Courthouse News. He was released from prison the same year.
In the criminal case against Mikovits, Science Magazine quoted the prosecutor as to why the charges had been dismissed: “There was a lot going on with the federal government and at different levels that didn’t happen when we first got involved times in this matter. And we have witness issues that have arisen. “
It’s true that Mikovits went bankrupt at one point. Heavy obtained the bankruptcy petition through the federal court system. You can read it here: Judy Mikovits Bankruptcy Filing. The personal property section in the bankruptcy case is a window into Mikovits’ professional problems at the time.
Judy Mikovits Bankruptcy Application Section.
She also filed a civil lawsuit against the Institute. You can read it here: Judy Mikovits Lawsuit. It includes these claims:
A passage from the trial of Judy Mikovits.
According to the file, his trial was dismissed. The court wrote: “The plaintiff is pro se and has not filed proof of service in violation of the rules and orders of the Court. These two facts independently deserve the rejection of the complaint. “
The WPI organization also filed a civil lawsuit seeking documents from Mikovits, including laboratory notebooks used for research. The New York Times reported that a laboratory worker, Max Pfost, said in an affidavit that “he had taken items at his request, putting away notebooks in his mother’s garage in Sparks, Nevada, before disposing of them deliver to Dr. Mikovits. “
He said that “Mikovits informed me that she was hiding on a boat to avoid being served with W.P.I. papers. “Said Pfost in the affidavit obtained by the Times.
Some have argued that the judge in the case was biased because of campaign donations received from Whittemore.
A 2009 article in the New York Times claims that the Whittemore organization was founded following “Harvey and Annette Whittemore’s desperation to find answers to an incurable disease”. The Times article reports that the Whittemores met Mikovits in 2006. The article says that at the time, she was “a virus expert who had spent 22 years working at the National Cancer Institute.”
She left the institute in 2001 to marry and move to California “where she went to work for a failed drug development company,” the Times reported. “She was running a bar in a yacht club when a boss said that her constant conversations about viruses reminded her of someone he knew in Nevada. This person connected her to Annette Whittemore, the newspaper said. She started studying retroviruses for them. That same year, she linked retroviruses to autism.
The institute describes itself as “a non-profit medical research institute dedicated to supporting people with a range of neuro-immune diseases (JN), including: myalgic encephalomyelitis (ME), fibromyalgia and diseases Similar complex chronicles of the immune system and the brain. “
Regarding the lawsuit, Science Magazine reported in 2011 that, according to WPI, “after Mikovits was closed on September 29, she wrongly deleted the lab notebooks and kept other proprietary information on her laptop and on flash drives and on a personal email account. . The group “won a temporary restraining order that prohibits Mikovits from” destroying, deleting or modifying “associated files or data. “
In 2011, Nature.com reported that Mikovits “had lost a civil action brought by its former employer”. The website reported that WPI’s lawyer released a statement saying, “At yesterday’s civil hearing, the Honorable Brent Adams found that Dr. Mikovits’ level of non-compliance with court orders was deliberate and deliberate without justification. As a result, the judge rendered a default judgment in favor of the Whittemore Peterson Institute and also awarded legal fees to the Institute. Most importantly for the Institute, today’s decision requires the immediate return of all misappropriated documents. “
The article claims that she spent four nights in prison.
Heavy contacted Mikovits for comment through his publisher.
Kennedy wrote in Mikovits’ book that it was her “duty to keep all of her research materials” and said that she “languished in a cell”. He painted it as a figure of persecution for his scientific integrity. He wrote that Judy Mikovits is “the heiress of … martyrs and, more directly, of a long line of scientists, whom public health officials have punished, exiled and ruined specifically for having committed heresy against vaccine orthodoxies reigning ”. Kennedy has previously denounced vaccines, although he denies being anti-vaccine.
3. Mikovits was co-author of a scientific research study on chronic retracted fatigue syndrome
VideoVideo linked to Judy Mikovits: a plandemic film presents a controversial researcher2020-05-06T15: 38: 00-04: 00
The outcome of Mikovits’ career as a research scientist dates back to a single article from 2009. Mikovits was co-author of an article entitled Detection of an infectious retrovirus, XMRV, in the blood cells of patients with chronic fatigue syndrome. It was not about vaccines. When the study was first published, it made headlines in the national press and was acclaimed. His reputation and career fell dramatically two years later when the research study was retracted.
The Chicago Tribune reported in 2011 that the study, which was published in 2009, had consequences, writing: “The principal investigator, Judy Mikovits, has started to make unsubstantiated statements about the discovery, including associating XMRV autism without publishing supporting data. declaration. Some CFS patients have started taking powerful antiretroviral drugs to treat HIV. “
The New York Times reported that a “commercial laboratory associated with the Whittemore Peterson Institute has started to market tests for XMRV, the suspected cause of chronic fatigue syndrome, costing hundreds of dollars.” Two years after the study was published, it was retracted and repudiated by Mikovits’ scientific peers.
Fauci played a role in the ultimate discredit of the research; according to Discover Magazine, “NIH AIDS Czar Anthony Fauci asked his friend Ian Lipkin, neurologist and virus hunter at the Center for Infection and Immunity at Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health, to settle the ‘dead end’ – the debate on the results. Lipkin’s results demonstrated that “XMRV was not really a human pathogen … confirming an earlier report, but an unnatural artificial contaminant made in a laboratory in the 1990s,” reports the magazine.
Mikovits participated in the Lipkin study and also concluded that “the definitive answer. … There is no evidence that XMRV is a human pathogen. “
The summary of this study reads as follows:
Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) is a debilitating disease of unknown etiology that is expected to affect 17 million people worldwide.

In the wake of the retracted article, Mikovits lost her job. According to Nature, she was fired in October 2011 after “she clashed with the institute’s president and co-founder, Annette Whittemore, over the work of another researcher.”
The Nature article claims that Mikovits wasn’t fired because of the retracted research paper but rather due to a “laboratory power struggle.” She was accused of refusing to allow another researcher into a lab to work with a cell line. According to Nature, Mikovits claimed that such an experiment would have been outside federal funding requirements.
According to Nature, the following day, a blogger “posted a figure from a 2009 paper that Mikovits co-authored in Science alongside one that Mikovits used in a recent presentation. The two figures, which are used to describe different results, look identical, except for the labelling.” Mikovitz defended the changes, saying they were appropriate.
A lengthy article on Mikovits in 2014 in the Ventura County Star provided some colorful details on her life. It says she has gone by the name Judy Nolde, and gave an interview “sitting in her 38-foot fishing boat in a racket club cap and flip-flops.”
Her husband’s name is David Nolde, and, when she was working in the WPI lab, she split her time between it and their home in near Channel Islands Harbor. She “served on a race committee at the Pierpont Bay Yacht Club, volunteering her services as a club bartender,” the article reports, adding that she “worked with cancer patients at Community Presbyterian Church in Ventura, where her husband was a church elder” and was inspired to research by her grandfather’s cancer death.
The article describes Mikovits’s arrest, claiming that an officer “came from the bushes.” Of the notebooks raised in the theft case, she told Ventura Star, “If we had left those notebooks unsecured, patient names would have been exposed. It’s like letting your credit card information get out.” She told the newspaper the notebooks “are being held under permanent court injunction, meaning she can’t touch them.” The newspaper says her husband was previously “personnel director at the Ventura County Health Care Agency.”
5. Mikovits Has Indeed Conducted Research on HIV & Was Influenced to Study Science Because of Her Grandfather’s Cancer
A 2009 article in the Reno Gazette-Journal describes how Mikovits’s grandfather was diagnosed with lung cancer when she was 12. Her parents were divorced, so she and her twin sister lived with their grandparents.
There were riots on the streets, but her grandfather kept everyone calm.
The article discussed how Mikovits believed chronic fatigue syndrome carried a stigma because some people felt it was the result of emotional or psychological problems. XMRV, believed by her then to be a “new infectious human retrovirus,” made CFS sufferers feel better because there was a known cause for their ailment. At least that was until the research fell apart.
Mikovits worked on HIV early on in her career, but it wasn’t the focus of the controversial research study that hit the headlines later on.
An old government bio for her says that Mikovits “obtained her Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from George Washington University. Her doctoral research focused on HIV-1 latency under the direction of Francis Ruscetti. Dr. Mikovits performed postdoctoral work on the molecular genetics of HTLV-1 under David Derse at the National Cancer Institute-FCRDC.”
She continued working on HIV. “The mechanisms by which human retroviruses alter the function of the immune system and other host responses resulting in pathogenesis are not well understood. The current focus of our studies is to define viral and cellular factors involved in pathogenesis,” the archived bio says. “Specifically, we have examined viral and cellular factors involved in regulating HIV infectivity and expression, cell death and mechanisms of immune dysfunction.”
You can read a 1998 study she co-authored on HIV here. Discover Magazine reports that “During her final two years at the (NCI) agency, she had directed the Lab of Antiviral Drug Mechanisms, where she studied therapies for AIDS as well as one of its associated cancers, Kaposi’s sarcoma.”
